This is a serious throwback for us at No Messin’.
It is the epitome of a big dirty pie and was our first ever Pie Sale Sellout back in the day, Over 5 years ago now. It’s got a special place in our hearts for that reason
We take the best Irish Bramley apples we can get out hands on, sprinkle them with out own secret warming spice mix then load them into our signature flaky, buttery pie crust and top it with a big fat lattice to keep it all inside.
Perfect with a big lump of whipped cream or ice cream on the side, if ye go near this with Birds custard we might have to disown you.
For this one we sourced our Bramleys from North Tipperary and Kilkenny with the help of our friend James and Highbank Orchard. The pastry is made using 100% Irish Butter and 100% Irish grown and milled flour from The Little Mill in Kilkenny.
